What is indaGalaxy? And why is it different from any other online game you've played?indaGalaxy is a real-time, browser based, online, multiplayer strategy game (MMOG). indaGalaxy has been made by an avid space strategy game fan but the good part is that all the update ideas come from the members and there is a large update every month bringing new features and sections to the game. indaGalaxy already features some impressive web 2.0 features making it seem more like a game and not just a webpage. Some of the features we already have are Space Exploration, Planet Management, ability to create buildings and custom ship types, Diplomacy, Espionage, Clan Warefare, Training Clans, Trading, Piracy, Space battles... There are even bonuses to people who preform the best each month including free swag not just game resources. Join the indaGalaxy community and fight battles in real time, find planets and colonize them or take them by force. Join forces with friends and fight your foes. Join a clan and meet new friends. No plug-ins or other downloads are required to play this game as everything has been hand coded. So come join in and 'take control of your own destiny'.
indaGalaxy Well even though I havn't updated in a while that doesnt mean our team has been sat around doing nothing.
DPheonix has now finished school as is on a break which means we are managing to get TryorDie finished and me and Weazel (Chris) have been hard at work with 2 ... Well indaGalaxy has been running open beta for the last 2 months and I think everything is going quite well. I have have quite a bit of response from it and am starting to get active players signing on every day.
Although I still have loads of things I want to ... Well its getting to that time where I start cracking the whip and banging heads together as we get to the final stages of the redesign for TryorDie.
Me and DPheonix are working really hard to get TryorDie open TODAY!!!... We are there really and the site is now ready but ... Yup as advertised work has recommenced.
I have updated the score page. You can now see the current scores for this month... Dont worry if you dont have a score at the moment because most of the scoring comes from ships which you cant build yet ;-)
I have added in 2 ... Ok so work on the sites has been slow just lately, I dont know what it is but just not been in the right frame of mind for it. indaGalaxy currently works but some features that I over looked need to be updated i.e. the forgot password page Wrait send ... Hi all its been a while been working recantly on a new design which has now been put into place. updates are happening all of the time since my last post there has been a huge amount of work done including a new forum mail friends skill and galaxy page ... Work has been going really well on indaGalaxy just lately and I have managed to get the research fully complete and the ship docking on a planet.
Docking your ships on a planet will add to your planetary defence so its definitely a good idea to keep them there. The next ... Hey guys running through the final peices of the new tryordie with it's layout I have completed the brand new mail page, however this is no ordenary mail page ;) It's very clever, and looks very smooth and there is no page refresh. Heck! you can even mail people on ... Ok so I have been working on indaGalaxy some more and have got quite a bit done again.
I have nearly finished the diplomacy page, but for all other purposes it is fully working. You can now go on create a clan, get a private forum, let people join, kick them, ... I have added a few new buildings to indaGalaxy which means you are now able to create all of the resources in the game. I have teaked some of the values and some of the tech tree aswell to make these new buildings fit in a little better.
